Why is my phone not charging?
You have connected your mobile phone to the charger and, inserting it into a power outlet, found that the battery was not charging. There may be many reasons, but most often it is:
1. BAD CONTACT between the plug and the connector - the socket may be loose (due to the “careful” handling of the phone) or its contacts are dirty (see Fig. 1).
This is a very common reason! It is enough to wipe the contacts of the charging connector with a piece of bandage soaked in PURE ALCOHOL (you can buy at the pharmacy) when the battery is pulled out of the phone, DO NOT under any circumstances use solvents, etc. active substances.

2. The cable is damaged due to constant bending and twisting. You can check the charger on another device, but for those who have multimeter it is advisable to measure the voltage on them.

3. If the device gives out voltage, look for the reason in the phone - pay attention to the contacts of its battery and those to which it is connected (Fig. 2). Wipe them gently.

4. Battery malfunction - perhaps it has already exhausted its resource and will not be able to gain the required capacity. Each battery has a certain number of charge-discharge cycles - the energy that it accumulates becomes less and less with time.
If, after installing a new battery, the phone does not charge further, most likely the controller responsible for this process is faulty. For repairs, you will have to disassemble the device and replace it. Those who do not know how to do this and are not familiar with digital electronics should contact a service center, otherwise the cost of repairs can increase significantly.
