SIMply MAX Remote Control Relays

It would be very convenient to control various equipment through a mobile phone. I just sent an SMS message, and one or another device turned on or off: the gate opened, heating started, the air conditioner started working, but you never know how much can be automated in this way at home or at work. And even better - a notification about the inclusion or about a change in the status of the device via SMS.

All this is already possible, and regardless of distance, regardless of operator, regardless of the user's location (the only condition is the presence of a cellular network). And this is not about complex automation systems, it is about compact modular devices - a remote control relay via a GSM channel.

The Polish electrical company F&F already mass-produces relays with the ability to remotely control two models: SIMply MAX P01 and SIMply MAX P02. These devices are designed for remote control of various objects, as well as for remote monitoring of their status through a mobile phone, that is, through a GSM channel.

Each such relay contains an integrated GSM module, which allows the device to work with any GSM 900/1800 MHz standard cellular communication operator. So, in order to be able to remotely control the relay, it is enough to install an activated SIM card in it with the PIN code disabled, after which it will be possible to send and receive SMS messages.

Relay model SIMply MAX P01 has already found wide application for remote control of turning off and on a variety of electrical devices, as well as to monitor their status (disconnected / on) using a cell phone.

So, for example, using remote SMS - commands, you can control the lighting of various territories, be it a garage, a house or a parking lot, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, watering devices for gardens, lawns, greenhouses, pumps for filling large capacities with water, turning household appliances on and off technicians in a children's room, etc.

All this is achieved by the presence of two controlled outputs and two inputs for the notification functions. Signals about executed commands, as well as control commands, are transmitted via SMS, the configuration of relay outputs and its inputs is similarly configured.

As an example of successful implementation of the remote control system on the SIMply MAX P01 model relay, we can cite the control of compressor, refrigeration and other critical equipment. Thanks to the joint operation of this relay with a voltage relay, for example with СР-710, equipment is protected from critical surges of the mains voltage and from a zero break.

When voltage relay CP-710 is triggered, it sends a signal to SIMply MAX P01, which in turn sends an SMS - message informing the responsible person about the violation of the safe operation mode of the responsible equipment.

Or for example, when SIMply MAX P01 is used in conjunction with a PZ-828 level control relay, the owner will be notified in case of emergency flooding of the basement, while the drain pump will automatically start. Or security systems: working together with presence or movement sensors, the SIMply MAX P01 relay will notify by SMS about the intrusion of uninvited guests, and may also turn on an audible alarm or light in order to scare strangers.

The second model from F&F is SIMply MAX P02, it implements the ability to determine the CLIP number. This model is successfully used for remote opening / closing of garage and entrance gates, gates and barriers, using a cell phone.

It is used in those facilities where limited access is important and at the same time it serves a large number of people (garages, enterprises, housing, parking lots, etc.).p.) In this case, the use of SIMply MAX P02 is much more economical than the use of conventional systems operating over the air.

The SIMply MAX P02 relay is equipped with two relay outputs from which control pulses are supplied to the gate and gate locking device, etc. These outputs work the same, but have different switching times (pulse duration).

When the subscriber calls the relay number, his phone number is identified (thanks to the SIMply MAX P02 CLIP function), after which the control pulse is automatically output. This relay model also has the ability to manually control the output using the buttons associated with the relay inputs.

From the foregoing, it becomes clear that the SIMply MAX P02 relay has two operating modes: manual and automatic. In automatic mode, after a predetermined period of time, the relay gives an impulse, for example, to close the gate. The numbers of specific telephone numbers of users, as well as the duration of control pulses, are set by means of a computer program via a USB cable connected to the relay.
